This Privacy Policy explains how Cyber-Tone LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Cyber-Tone iOS app, our website at cyber-tone.com, and related services (together, the "Services"). We respect your privacy. We collect only what we need, and we do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
On the website:
- Information you provide when you place an order or contact us (name, email, shipping address, payment information).
- Server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, cookies). This is standard for any website and helps us keep the site running.
In the Cyber-Tone app:
- Pitch list content you create — list names, songs, keys, lyrics, measure data, and other content you enter.
- Your email address and first name, if you choose to save your work to your account.
- An anonymous device identifier (a randomly generated ID) created the first time you open the app. It is not tied to your Apple ID, phone number, or any other system identifier.
- App preferences and usage flags stored locally on your device, such as your settings choices and which tutorial hints you have seen.
The app does NOT collect: location data, contacts, calendar, photos, microphone or camera input, data about other apps, or information that tracks you across other apps or websites.
How we use it
- To provide the Services and let the app work as intended.
- To save your pitch lists and let you access them on any device, if you provide an email address.
- To process orders, ship products, and respond to customer service inquiries.
- To send you product updates, educational content, and offers — only if you opt in to marketing emails.
- To improve our products and services.
Where your information goes
Your information is stored in a few places:
- On your device (pitch lists, preferences).
- On our servers, operated by Supabase, when you provide an email address. Supabase processes this data on our behalf under a data-processing agreement.
- In our customer database, operated by Shopify, when you make a purchase or provide your email through the app.
- In our email service (such as Klaviyo) if you opt in to marketing emails. They receive only your email and marketing-related data — not your pitch list content.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your pitch list content with anyone outside the providers above, who are bound to protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (for example, tax records).
Your rights and choices
You can:
- Use the app without providing personal information. Most features work without an account.
- Access your data and ask what we have on file.
- Export your pitch list data in a portable format.
- Correct any information that is wrong.
- Delete your account and all associated data.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.

Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies for basic functionality, analytics, and (if you accept) marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings. The app does not use cookies and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
For users in the European Union
If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to object to processing, restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. The legal basis for our processing is your consent (for marketing) and our legitimate interest in providing the Services (for everything else).
For California residents
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we have collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. Cyber-Tone does not sell your personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if you have provided one) or through the app or website.

It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

Shipping/Delivery Policy
We are a small family business. We work very hard to ship your products out as quickly as possible. Normally products will ship out on the same day or by the next business day via the delivery service you select at checkout or through a faster method at our discretion. If we are out of stock or are not able to meet your delivery requirements, please reach out to Contact Us page for help.
Customs/Duties/International Taxes
International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient is responsible for these fees. For orders shipped within the USA, sales taxes are calculated at check out where required by law.
